Guys, remind me of who has what plans to salvage our connections when G+ folds? I am pissed about losing all the connections I have to so many great creators and posters in so many RPG groups.
Richard G Thanks, Richard. MeWe looks like the closest thing to G+. I'm on Discord as well, but have little idea what use I'd make of it. BTW your link for it is rejected, they say they need your 4 digit code. No biggie, as I say I'm unsure what use it is.
I also have @stratometaship on Twitter. It's simple enough to use, that I repost everything there. I haven't come across a consolidated post-G+ location yet.
I think there was an attempt at gathering everyone's links. Maybe by the same person who did the blog links spreadsheet?
I'll blog on Goblinburg.blogspot.com, and I tweet as @surcapitaine. I'll try Friendica/Pluspora in the next few weeks as well. Looks like the best option of aggregating people's content from various sources (including blogs).
I'm not on MeWe or Facebook, so if someone wants to start MM groups there, go for it!
Not sure about Discord - I use it for audio when gaming, but I can't bring myself to use the text chat. Let me think about it.

ReplyDeleteMeWe doesn't evem have a G+ invite widget FFS. But it looks like you can do it via share widget one group at a time.
