Yesterday, we played a Robusta Robots adventure with 3 friends (irl).
They visited the third moon of Jupiter where a strange terrian SOS was broadcasted. They found a crashed vintage spaceship, giant atomic ants, some insectoïd monkeys and some angry martians...

Protein bars and spring water (D4), running shoes, vicodin (D4), smartphone (D4)
Sticks of sage (D4)

"Big Joe" may have been a cannibal trucker, they say. But few care. His rambles over the CB frequencies, now recorded by late-night loners on stained pages of loose-leaf and in the margins of trashy smut novels, had power and secrets. You see things when you're on the road as long as "Joe".

An impartial copy of "Joe"'s grimoire has made its way to Royal Hill, and the riff-raff are - so to speak - eating it up. The problem with impartial grimoires, though, is that spells tend to turn into curses. And now The Kid has one on his head. He's looking for the rest of the torn-out page that he read from so he can maybe wipe the slate clean, but that's easier said than done.

Ken Daeling (often mis-taken down as 'Darling', much to his chagrin)
STR 9
INT 15
WIS 9
DEX 12
CON 7
CHA 14

pocket change (d4)
Crossbow (d6) (d8 bolts)
Crates of Vintage Porn

Eq.dice left over: d8, d6

Languages: American English, French, Korean

(Follower: Lefty' was a great asset to the Howard Street Crew, being the only left-hand dominant pick-pocket among them, and less likely to be spotted - until he fell from a wall while escaping pursuit and broke his wrist. Now he mostly works as an errand boy and lookout for 'Solderking' Ken Daeling, who has taken to calling him 'Mr. Sinister' in an attempt to cheer the boy up).

Yesterday's Americano Anomalies went really well.

Yesterday's Americano Anomalies went really well. I think I still need a bit of routine with the rules, but the players were absolutely great.

Melee Weapons table: the Bastard sword is listed as d8*. Since a bastard sword is designed to be usable both one-handed and two-handed, I'd make this be d8/d8*.
How does one submit things to the MM Drive?
In the Wealth and Valuables table, #19 includes 'bag of gems d4'. What are these gems worth? d4 what?

Tore Nielsen guillaume jentey Norbert Matausch Dani Cox Quentin Forestier You may have already seen this, but I've added your equipment tables from Guillame's Macchiato Midget Google Drive share to the Adventuresmith app. You're all given credit in the Macchiato Monsters section of 'Attribution & Thanks' .

I assumed you'd all be OK with putting the content from your MM hack equipment tables into another form. If not, let me know.

Splitting and merging bags

Splitting and merging bags

The rules in this section don't work, at least if you use the Quick coin conversion table in Extra Shot. The mechanism for splitting bags leaves the character with less money than they started with.

Let's say you start with 1000 gp.

Using Extra Shot, this is a either electrum d12 or gold d4. Let's pick electrum. Now let's divide this into three electrum d4s. Looking at Extra Shot, these are worth 100 gp each. 700 gp just vanished somewhere in the room where the bags were divided.
In the drop down menu could we get a link to the Google drive? So it is easier to find?

I'm lacking time to read all your awesome setting starters in detail... But I will!

Actually I'm thinking of running a silly multiversal game where every character comes from a different universe.

Doable?

When I'm in... I'm in !

This is the CAPPUCCINO COWBOYS character sheet...

I stop for today : I swear !

I'm going to print out a couple so I can playtest it more thoroughly.

I've updated the sandbox worksheet with the experimental format of encounter risk die table. Let us know if it works for your refereeing needs.

PDF available from the Macchiato Monsters mainframe's datadrive cyberarchive (accessible via personal computing decks and wireless matrix-enabled corporate subsidized portable devices: http://quenouille.com/macchiato-monsters-dungeonverse-build-together/)

So this a corrected "ROBUSTA ROBOTS" character sheet !

Hello there

Hello there,

we have 3 new settings with the Gear Tables to play MMz.

AMERICANO ANOMALIES
By Tore Nielsen

They’ve got more than thirty kinds of frappuccino in here, and one block over they don’t have clean water. The rules are breaking down, and the city is full of wonders. Things you imagine. Things you try to ignore. Things that were forced into unreality before history began.
And you’re in the thick of it.
Trying to to make rent through DIY thaumaturgy. Trying to make the maggotpeople and the deathshades respect the Laundry Room Ceasefire. Trying to make gentrification feel less like a drunk fox hunt hurtling through your home.
Reality rots. Never a dull moment.
The setting is 21st century urban USA, even if it only bears a fleeting resemblance to any real place. The strange, the monstrous and the surreal is there, barely bothering to stay out of sight.

Moka Mechanoïd Z
By Quentin Forestier

It is the year 20MM. After the great bean war, earth has been reduced to a dry land and desert where only few humans have survived. Hidden in forbidden facilities, they resist against the remains of an enormous robotic corporation lead by a deviant robot. Enslaving humanity and intelligent IA since the end of the war.
Protected behind a wall and a gigantic robot army. The Corporation seek for rebels and mondial domination.

Robusta Robots
By Guillaume Jentey

We are far away in the future : in the year 1999 !
There is the peace on Earth because men and women of our blue planet are smart and beautiful.
But sometime, they have to fight against giant creatures or creations made by mad scientists... but you know: that’s life !
The science is almighty, you can do what you want if there is "atomic" or other word with "ic" in the name of your creation.
We can find other races on every planet of the Solar System : Communists on Mars and Nazis on the Moon... And maybe some beautiful and dangerous Amazons on Venus...
And it's simple to go to the other side of the galaxy as it's simple to cross a road.
You are in the future of the movies and the pulps of the 50's and 60's !

I put them in the MMdrive :

I'd like to run a session of Americano Anomalies.

I'd like to run a session of Americano Anomalies. It deals with squalor, strangeness, and desperate ingenuity in a place that kinda looks like the US.

Since character generation is quick, fun, I'd like it to happen at the (virtual) table. The characters live in the same squalid building.

Lemme know if you're interested (and when).

Do you generally hash out specialist and magical abilities during chargen, or do you just work it out on a case-by-case basis? Do you write anything down beyond a title?

What would you have to do to make MM work for a PvP-style game?

Hey folks!

Hey folks! I've been hard at work on a project for over a year and I'm dropping it on you today. Announcing Plundergrounds, a zine devoted to Dungeon World adventures! (Also suitable for Macchiato Monsters and other OSR games.)

Get your hands on the free first issue at my Patreon link below. It's got 24 pages of politically-motivated intelligent apes, gladiator battles, weird alien tech, and an insane dimensional portal. Yeah, all that, and some cool art by +Sean Poppe to boot.

If you enjoy it, subscribe through my Patreon and get issues in every even month of 2017.
