My friend, who looks like me from a distance, is currently whining about burst fire. I suggest that he simply borrows the Disad on stat check/Ad on damage roll, to kinda emulate the dumb movies he gets his ideas from. Dear Abby, am I doing the right thing?

You could have 'full auto' mean you get an advantage to hit and to damage, but you immediately roll on your ammo usage die. For small bursty things, I think the bad to hit, good to damage is right on.
