Suppose you wanted more equipment tables (I've in an extra one in two of my hacks). Would your reaction be:

1: Give players one more dice for rolling equipment.
2: Those players will just have to learn to make do! Why, in my time we had a sword, a burlap sack, and a kick up the backside if we didn't get into the dungeon fast enough!
3: ANOTHER equipment list? What do you think this is, Shadowrun?
4: Why stop there? I want a list that's strictly vegan.
5: Pfff... I'm not bothered either way.
6: ?????

  1. How important is that new table? If it isn't somehow vital for the setting I'd leave the rule as is. Six tables, six dice.

  2. Eric Nieudan Moderately important, but I think I agree with you.

I'm still working on my demigod idea, but I'm wondering if it needs to be The Black Hack, or some Frankensteinian abomination of my own devising.

  4. Allow them to step down any other die to add a d4. Or step down twice to add a d6, thrice for a d8, etc

  7. Thinking about this, I think it would make sense for the game to have a sixth table, for magical gear.
That's where you get your ingredients, maybe a potion or a scroll, and some strange, plot making shit.
    Hmmm...
