The Big Traits List

The Big Traits List

You know how hard it is sometimes to come up with a fun trait for your character? Maybe a huge list to choose form or roll on would help. I compiled the traits of all the characters in my campaigns (including the one I'm just a player in), and I'll go through notebooks and convention folders as well. There are already 102 traits - can we make it to 200 with your own contributions?

(I think it would be more fun to have traits that have already been written on a character sheet, whether it has seen play or not. Feel free to disregard, but please specify if you're posting traits you just came up wit.)

  6. Magi max What inconvenience ? My reply was poorly phrased. Don't worry, it's all my bad.

In the games I run, I have too :
    - an orcish suttler
    - a goblin rider
    - a scout kobold
    - a blade dancer
    - a plague bearer

  17. I just think it would be cool to have a big table that says 'Stuck for a trait? Here's some of the shit that people have been coming up with.'
That said, I won't be too picky about it. If it's been on a character sheet, even an imaginary one, it's good enough for me :)

  18. so to reiterate:
those that have been played or on a charsheet:

  22. When we play with Widou, my character, Markus, was a Stonemason. (You played a martian if i remember).

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sébastien Oh yeah, was that the Veins of the Earth game?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes and one more time in mushroom village, to collect taxes!

  25. Stone leper had been played in MM. All the others have been played with a homebrewed, HeroWars-inspired, trait system, except for flesh ale brewer which got no further than a character sheet. Cook was more exactly halfling cook btw.

  26. I don't know if I can allow traits from other games... I'll take the leper though!

  27. oh i forgot "vengeful minotaur", "theatrical illusionist", and "goblin-killer"
