I'm lacking time to read all your awesome setting starters in detail... But I will! Actually I'm thinking of running a silly multiversal game where every character comes from a different universe.
You know this old serial books : Le monde du fleuve (To Your Scattered Bodies Go)... A kind of world behond deat where people from different worlds are coming.
A collision between differents universes creating a place (a planet maybe) where every thing exist in the same place. But more you are far away from the middle more it begins to be a single world... My english is definitively shit :I don't understand a word of what I just wrote !
The last version of Gamma World was apparently a result of turning on the LHC and watching the planet splinter into a patchwork of multiple realities from parallel universes. [This allowed much more gonzo role-playing than the 2249AD collapse of a very militarised civilisation.]
Plenty of good ideas there. Actually I just remembered I had a multiversal setting about twelve years ago - it never got published but I might still have notes somewhere...
What a great idea : I really want to see a Space Marine with a chainsaw sword have a journey with his hobbit slinger friend !
