_At 0 HP you're unconscious, bleeding. Make a CON check to determine if you’re
still breathing. With a success, you have 1 HP and can be healed normally, but
you’ve sustained a grievous wound: you lose a level to represent the loss in abilities and stamina. Remove two advances (not necessarily you latest ones – talk to the referee about what makes the most sense)._
Does this include level 1? Do you become level 0? I think I'm too soft for OSR! :-D
It does. Be ruthless!
ReplyDeleteThe thing is, it'll just take one goal to level back up to 1. Which usually happens at the end of the adventure, if not session.
I think I'm doing goals wrong.
ReplyDeleteHow do you do goals?
ReplyDeleteI think I make them too long term. More character-defining, less here and now.
ReplyDeleteTore Nielsen To me, character defining goals are the personal ones. The group ones are adventure related: find the treasure, reach the dungeon, get rid of the bandits... etc.
ReplyDeleteEvlyn M Stat loss, even temporary, is harsh in a roll-under framework don't you think?
Eric Nieudan Good point. :-) I didn't even think of group goals.
ReplyDeleteEvlyn M Oh I misunderstood you, sorry =)
