Hey again guys!

Hey again guys! I have yet another question. First, when creating a character, it says armor, hit dice and combat mastery should all be d6. If I get a leather armor (which is rd4), should I step down my d6 armor? Is d6 the default for unarmored characters or why does it starts as d6?

  1. the d6 is your HD at creation.
It means you can use armor and weapon with d4 and d6 without disadvantage.
If your HD become bigger (with combat training) you can use d8 armor and weapon... etc...
I don't know if I'm clear (because my english is not very correct...)

  3. Thank you to try to understand my english !
I try to write it once again more simply :
you begin with a HD equal to d6 (you can pass it to d8 or d10 with combat training)
your HD give, of course, your number of HP but also the type/size of weapons and armors you can use with disadvantage...
    I'm not sure it's more clear ;)

  4. guillaume jentey I think half the words you write in English are about your English :p
    Your should stop apologising!

  5. David Álvarez It may be easier to think of it in these terms: your hit die type is a cap for the weapons and armour you can use without penalty.
